Reflections – 11 x 14 Giclee

So many trips to Rome, Georgia to capture this perfect photos to use for this drawings. Most days the pond in front looked like glass and cast a perfect (too perfect) shadow of the mill.

Found at Martha Berry College is this, the largest overshot mill ever constructed in our country. And tall she is at 43 feet. While this is not a working mill, it does still work and runs each and every September for a few days. This outstanding structure is one of the many the treasures at Berry College. Make a day of it if you are into old structures or plain old beauty (and don’t miss the covered bridge!)
