Description of No Bus Today – 11 x 14 Giclee
This unique drawing connects with the my northern roots. This is a representation of my old bus seat among the trees as it snowed in Randallstown, MD. The little turnaround at Chapel Hill only had the one seat (and I confess it was green!) From this final drop off, I still walked a mile home every day after having used 3 transit busses and relished the days that this amount of snow would make that trip unnecessary! And I assure you, the WAS no bus that day.
The softness of the trees and the snow were created with pencil while the bench was created using traditional pen & ink. The whole thing was pulled together with just a small pop of colored red ink. Truly one of my favorites
