“Morning” with a friend (11 x 14 Giclee)

“When a Cardinal is near, angels appear”> The drawing was done for a friend of mine who lost his son, Joshua. The drawing was done with the soft background in pencil and the foreground in traditional pen & ink – super detailed! I finished the Cardinal with various red inks and just a quick wash if watercolor on the beak. I hadn’t drawn in nearly two years because of back & knees surgeries.
