Lake Murray

Technique marries texture on this lovely lake scene. The background was a soft mist and so a soft pencil (and stubs) were used for that softness. The entire right side of the drawing were created with varying pen and ink techniques that capture the nature of the rocks, tress and bushes.

This drawing was originally composed with a fishing boat on the left. The original exists as “Right on Red as an 11 x 14.
