The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association has accepted "Garvine Mill - PA" into its National 2010 Juried Show.I took the photo on this mill on the very last day I saw my Mom here on earth, so this piece has very special meaning to me.
Dr. Annette Blaugrund, Ph.D., former director of the National Academy Museum and School of Fine Arts is the juror for this show. To have a piece of my art juried by her is a considerable honor as she has such a prestigious reputation as a juror.
The Opening Reception and awards ceremony is on Saturday, October 16th 2010 starting at 5:30pm. Please join me there!
